Scottish artist Jim Lambie is exhibiting at the Pearl Lam Gallery with his installation Metal Box (Apple Orchard). Made of aluminium, polished steel sheets, household and flurescent paints.
Lambie specialises in colourful sculptural installations made from everyday modern materials and found objects, such as posters, album covers and household products. Four static dads with laptops dressed as Spiderman in Hong Kong! The electronic pop masters Kraftwerk with their 3D show and 16 track playlist. Their quality of music is beyond question and despite the fact they are a ‘classic’ band performing their back catalogue, their sound still sounds truly unique. The 3D animations are extremely basic and act as works of art, the Independent describing them as “a futuristic vision rising out of the past.” A stunning show!
